The Mission
As said in my intro - My Lord came to my rescue - His love saved me and I am purchased….and with the rest of my life - I am going to do something about it. This website is one of those somethings - but this is not about me - it’s about Him. Through poetry and articles, my desire is to share who Jesus Christ is in my life and do so in a way that is easy to understand. By doing so, I also hope to address certain stereotypes the world may have of who Jesus is, who His followers are, and the impact He has on this world. I am not perfect (that’s amusing just to type) and do not claim to be an expert, doctor or profound theologian. I am in the beginning stages of my Masters of Divinity – that is all. Therefore, I do not consider my writings to be absolute or that I have each and every answer (though I do know which Book to find it in). What I do have – is a heart for people and for living this life well, and I’m willing to open that up. The ideas in my writings have a foundation from what I have learned in Church, from small groups, from one on one fellowship as well as personal reflection - and that’s just being honest. You will take from the poems and articles what you would like - what you allow to speak to you the most. And I have prayed for what you will take away - - - life impacting moments.
